The Richland Public Library offers more than books and movies for you and your family to checkout! Explore the list of offerings below and checkout these different experiences. All of these experiences may be reserved or placed on hold by the user. Please return all physical experience checkouts to a service desk; do not return these through our book drops.

Attraction Passes

• Part of the Tumbleweed Tourist collection, checkout area attractions for free! Click the link above to begin exploring our available attractions.
• Reserve a day to visit an area attraction on our online reservation site. Once reserved, present your digital or printed confirmation at your selected attraction.

Discover Passes and Explorer Backpacks

• Part of the Tumbleweed Tourist collection, Discover Passes are good for access at all Washington State Parks.
• Ask for an Explorer Backpack at checkout! The Backpack includes include binoculars, compass, a Washington State Parks book, and wildlife guides.
• Checks out for 1 week.
• Eligible for renewal.

Board Games

• A collection of popular board games for all ages.
• Checks out for 1 week.
• Eligible for renewal.
• Maximum of 2 games checked out per card at any time.

Outdoor Recreation

• A collection of outdoor recreation games for all ages.
• Checks out for 1 week.
• Eligible for renewal.
• Maximum of 2 games checked out per card at any time.

Hot Spots

• Hot spots will support WiFi for up to 10 devices in a household.
• Must be 18 or older to checkout.
• Checks out for 3 weeks.
• Eligible for renewal.

Yoto Player Kits

• Yoto Players are screen-free audio players designed for children, offering a range of audio stories that are played with physical cards. Kits include the player and a selection of story cards.
• Checks out for 1 week.
• Eligible for renewal.
• Maximum of 2 kits checked out per card at any time.

Ukuleles

• Playable ukuleles to try out.
• Checks out for 3 weeks.
• Eligible for renewal.

Kill A Watt

• This device measures electric usage by appliances.
• Checks out for 3 weeks.
• Eligible for renewal.

Bike, Scooter, and Skateboard Locks

• The library has racks that can accommodate bicycles, scooters, skateboards, e-scooters, and e-skateboards.
• Checkout a lock for your bike, scooter, or skateboard if you forgot yours or don't have one.
• Not available for advance hold.
• Checks out for the time of your library visit.
• Must be returned by library closing.

Power Banks

• Forgot your power cords or sitting at a spot without an outlet? The library offers power banks to checkout for charging your small devices.
• These power banks include cables that are compatible with most mobile devices. These power banks will charge phones, tablets, and chromebooks, but not full sized laptops.
• Not available for advance hold.
• Checks out for the time of your library visit.
• Must be returned by library closing.

Game Table Pieces

• The library has three game tables that are outside the front of our building. Each table has a checker board built into it.
• Checkout game pieces to play a game on these tables from our service desk. We have chess, checkers, and Othello pieces and instructions to lend.
• Not available for advance hold.
• Checks out for the time of your library visit.
• Must be returned by library closing.
