Singing Strings Ukulele Club

6:15 pm- Kids Jam Session, ages 8-12

7 pm - Teens & Adults Jam Session, ages 13-99+

Bring your ukulele, any music we've given you, and a table-top music stand (if you have one). We will have several ukuleles available to borrow if you don't have your own yet, but supplies are limited.

Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

ABSOLUTE Beginners Ukulele Class - for teens & adults

This class teaches you all the basics from how to hold the uke, strumming techniques, and how to read ukulele chords and tab so that you can jump into our Tuesday jam sessions.

* Beginners between the ages of 8 and 12 can come to the kids jam sessions on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays. We have several volunteers who can take them aside and get them up to speed so they can join in the jam.

Learn basic Appalachian mountain dulcimer! Members also play penny whistles, recorders, bodhran, guitar, fiddle, viola, cello, and string bass. They'd love to have you
come and play!

Free beginners lessons from 12 - 1 pm.

Regular jam sessions from 1 - 4 pm.

Python Users Group

The Python Users Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

This meeting is open to everyone interested in coding with Python. Beginners and experts are welcome.

Python is a general-purpose, high-level programming language. It focuses on code readability and makes the programs you create easier to write and read.

Virtual Reality on Oculus Rift

Check out our Oculus Rift, Quest, or Go! Travel the world, swim in the deep sea, take tours of national landmarks, become completely immersed in a movie that unfolds around you, make friends with a little robot. All these experiences can be yours through the magic of virtual reality.

Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code is a free, national after-school coding club for girls. RPL hosts a drop-in version of the club for 3rd - 5th grade girls. The club schedule coincides with the school year. There are no club meetings during summer break.
